Taking in the Scenery...

So our 2nd trip to London was just as good as the first time we went so we definitely weren't disappointed. We loved the company having Aunt Susan and Kara come to join us and it made the trip more fun!

Here are a few pictures of our trip :) They're a little but out of order but never-the-less, here they are...!

Anthony made a friend at the Tower of London while touring the castle

Anthony on the flight of stairs up the White Tower

Thought I would try and be one of the soldiers while we were there

Kara brought Miles the Bear for his first trip to Europe and we made sure he had fun while doing it!

At the Tower Bridge (London Bridge) right outside the Tower of London

Some artsy pictures of the London Bridge

Another shot of the London Bridge...pretty amazing!

Miles the Bear and I eating a nice Italian meal in London

A view of the Shard from the Tower of London

Stain glass windows all throughout the towers...so beautiful!

A little friendly company for some good eats...

The Precious Crown Jewels

This is the famous Crown Jewels that everyone comes to see...they were beyond words!

A view of the White Tower within the walls of the Tower of London

Outside walls of the Tower of London

Bloody Tower - this is where they kept "the rack" for stretching the human body well beyond its means

A replica of one of the thrones...so pretty!

You can see the old wreckage of real Tower of London within its restored walls

I got myself a little Toy Soldier while we were there LOL

Traitor Gate - where all the criminals came in but never came out

Inside the White Tower, there was a dragon made solely out of weapons

The White Tower

Anthony and I at the Kensington Palace gardens

Anthony in front of Buckingham Palace - what a stud!

Buckingham Palace Gates

We saw Canadian flags from inside the National Art Gallery...YAY Canada!

We saw carriages in the Royals Mews and they were sooooooo nice!

The Royal Carriage used for the Queens Coronation 60 years ago

Absolutely COVERED in gold - it was amazing to see up close!

There were even paintings within the carriage all over the outside - works of art!

Proof that we were at Kensington Palace

Royal Mews - practice ring for the horses or where they get them ready

Kensington Palace grounds - what a gorgeous day it was :-)

Another garden around Kensington Palace with a little cafe and patio

One of the oldest carriages we've ever seen - dating back to the 1800s

Memorial for Prince Albert

Even though it was at the back of Kensington Palace gardens, it was worth seeing

Just a different photography perspective

Royal Horses - they were breathtaking!

St. Paul's Cathedral

We came on a Saturday afternoon but there was a ceremony happening so we couldn't go in

St. Paul's is where Princess Diana was married to Charles.

Buckingham Palace gates...finally with not a million people standing around

Our fabulous Italian lunch that we had in London ..it was delicious!

We had such a good trip with Aunt Susan and Kara and would definitely make another trip to London again soon...actually in a couple weeks when we see Aunt Dawn and Uncle Ron!!!! YAY!!!! Looking forward to meeting up with them and showing them around London. Until then...cheerio!
