Well as most of you know, Anthony and I have come back to the Motherland to surprise everybody for the summer. I will be super surprised if by reading this some of you still don't know we're home yet but SURPRISE if you still don't know!! LOL...
It has been a while since my last blog - almost a month but I figured I should probably get it on it well before I lose track of time...which is really easy at the moment because I am home for the summer and scheduled to do NOTHING while I'm here so I swear I'm starting to lost track of minutes, hours, days and even weeks! As most of you already know, Anthony and I flew in from England on July 26th and are here in Canada until September 1st when we have to fly back to start school September 3rd. So while we're here, we are doing everything we can to enjoy the sunshine and company of all of our friends and family.
Ever since the day we flew in, everything has gone by so quickly and all we want to do is get back in touch with family and friends and spend some time with everyone! Not much has happened since the last blog and since we flew home. We have been trying to relax and enjoy the time we have here. Oddly enough, our weekends are already booked up till we have to go back but that isn't necessarily a bad thing! We have been doing a lot of cottage vacation with more to come next week and love hanging out with people we've missed for 7 months. Life here in Canada hasn't changed much which was expected but it feels nice to come home to the same thing that we left it (except without snow)!! Anthony is working over his time here with construction and I am lucky enough to not have ANYTHING to do except sit around in the sunshine and tan on the beach (cottage)...ah the life of a teenager again!! It's pretty amazing - I forgot what it was like because I haven't had this much freedom since I was 17!!!
As far as the UK and our new permanent jobs that we are starting in September, Anthony and I are just preparing some work for the first term and we are trying to figure out how the first few days of school are going to be. With that said, I didn't do summer school for the last couple of weeks because we flew home on July 26th so that was exciting! I am sad that I missed out on the opportunity to make some extra cash doing it and having fun while doing it but we couldn't pass up the opportunity to come back home and surprise everybody! Go figure, when we came home on the Friday, we went over to mom and dad's to surprise them and found out that they had just left a couple hours before to go up to the cottage for the weekend!! LOL...oh what a story! We had to wait till they got back Sunday night to surprise them but it was totally worth it :) :) :) You should have seen the look on their faces...absolutely PRICELESS!
Well I can't say that there has been much going on since we got back but there will be plenty more activities planned before the end of the summer arrives, so until our next big adventure...we are loving being back home and so glad that we surprised everyone else in the process!!!!!!!!
